Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is an Indian performer, singer-songwriter, and musician. She is mainly involved in Tamil as well as Malayalam movies. Annayum's Rasoolum has marked her Malayalam and Tamil debuts in acting. Andrea Jeremiah has been identified as an Anglo-Indian born at Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father works as a lawyer at the Madras High Court. Her sister, who is younger, is a Belgian research assistant who lives in Leuven. Jeremiah was brought up within Chennai. He attended National Public School. After the completion of his studies, he attended Women's Christian College. Andrea was an eight year old classical pianist, who was extremely geeky. In her twenties, she became a part of a group called the Jackson Five Young Stars which formed the base of her early singing and music composing career. In her college she also was a theater artist and performed in stage plays that were put on through The Madras Players. Andrea was the president of The Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea began her acting career with Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. Her 2006 role in the new leo Coffee advertisement was in the role of Shiva. The actress also appeared in a television show that was telecast on Podhigai. The actress has also appeared in India. She played a minor role in the Kanda Mudhal finale (2005). She sang a song for Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. She was asked to be one of the female lead characters for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea is Kalyani as a wife and mother whose man has an affair. Andrea got the part of Kalyani following Simran Shobana, Tabu and others were offered the role. The film was released in the early part of 2010. In August 2011 Venkat Prabhu released his multi-starrer Mankatha. She was asked to take on a lesser part in the film. Annayum Rasoolum was Rajeev's romantic film that was released in 2013.
